Bingo Caller

Free bingo caller for 90-ball and 75-ball games. Draws random numbers, reads them out with the traditional calls, runs on auto and checks claims for you.

–

Press "Call" or the space bar to draw the first ball.

Check a claim

Someone shouts "house"? Type the numbers on their line or card and see if they have all been called.

A bingo caller has one job: say “legs eleven” and “two fat ladies” with a straight face so everybody else can play. At a home game that’s usually the person who’d rather be playing, so let this one do it instead. It draws each ball at random, shows it big enough to read across a room, and reads it out loud, nickname and all.

It’s free and it runs in your browser, on a laptop plugged into the telly or a phone propped against the fruit bowl.

Running a game with the bingo caller

Choose 90-ball or 75-ball, then press “Call” (or the space bar) for each ball. Prefer to sit back? Hit “Auto” and pick how long it waits between calls. Five seconds is brisk. Twelve suits a table of grandparents, and twenty is for a room full of kids who keep losing their pens.

The board underneath lights up every number that’s out, and the last few calls sit next to the ball so nobody has to ask “what was that?”. Called something by mistake? “Undo” puts the last ball back. The game is saved in your browser too, so a refreshed page doesn’t wipe the whole round.

Checking a claim

When someone shouts, type the numbers from their line or card into “Check a claim”. It tells you straight away whether every number has been called, and which ones haven’t if it’s a false alarm. No more reading the board back while everyone waits.

For 90-ball, the usual order is one line, two lines, then a full house. For 75-ball agree a pattern before you start: a line, four corners, an X, or the whole card.

Voice and the traditional calls

The voice uses whatever speech your device has built in, so it’ll sound a bit different on an iPhone, an Android or a Windows laptop. If you can’t hear anything, check the volume and, on an iPhone, the silent switch. Untick “Voice” to run it silently.

For 90-ball you can turn the old calls on or off. A few favourites:

  • 1 Kelly’s eye, 7 Lucky seven, 11 Legs eleven
  • 22 Two little ducks, 45 Halfway there, 57 Heinz varieties
  • 66 Clickety click, 88 Two fat ladies, 90 Top of the shop

Some calls vary from hall to hall (10 used to be named after whoever was Prime Minister). The 75-ball game just calls the letter and number, like “B 6” or “N 42”, which is how it’s done.

Need cards? The bingo card generator prints random 75-ball cards and proper 90-ball strips.

Frequently asked questions

Is the bingo caller random?

Yes. Each game shuffles all 75 or 90 numbers with your browser's random number generator, and every number is called once.

Can the bingo caller read the numbers out loud?

Yes. Leave "Voice" ticked. It uses your device's built-in speech, so check the volume if you hear nothing.

What are the bingo calls for each number?

Traditional 90-ball calls include Kelly's eye (1), Legs eleven (11), Two little ducks (22), Clickety click (66) and Two fat ladies (88). Turn on "Bingo calls" to hear them all.

How do I check if a bingo claim is right?

Type the numbers on the player's line or card into "Check a claim". It shows which numbers have been called and which are still missing.
