Your lines

Numbers come from your browser's secure random generator, so every combination is equally likely. Nothing here can make a line more likely to win. Your earlier picks are kept in this browser only.

This lottery number generator gives you random lines for eleven different lotteries, from UK Lotto and EuroMillions to Powerball, Oz Lotto and Lotto Max. Pick the game, choose how many lines you want and press Lucky Dip. It’s free, it works on your phone at the shop counter, and each game’s numbers stay inside its own rules: six from 59 for Lotto, five plus two Lucky Stars for EuroMillions, and so on.

Formats were checked in November 2026. Several games changed this year: Irish Lotto dropped from 47 balls to 45 in September, Lotto Max went to 52 numbers in April, and South Africa’s PowerBall bonus ball now comes from 1 to 16. If a game changes again, the operator’s own site is the final word.

Your own rules

Open “Your own rules” to fix a lucky number or two on every line, rule out numbers you never want, or make sure no two lines overlap by more than two numbers. There’s also an option to skip lines where every number is 31 or under. Lots of people play birthdays, so an all-low line is more likely to be shared if it ever comes in. It won’t change your chance of winning, only how many people you’d split the jackpot with.

The numbers come from your browser’s built-in secure random generator, the same kind used for encryption. Every combination is exactly as likely as every other, so a generated line is no better or worse than one you choose yourself. What it does do is stop you picking the same birthdays as thousands of other players.

Each game also has its own page: UK Lotto, EuroMillions, Thunderball, Set For Life, Irish Lotto, Powerball, Oz Lotto and Lotto Max and 6/49. To compare the odds of any game, including its smaller prizes, use the lottery odds calculator.

A lottery ticket is entertainment with very long odds. Spend what you’d spend on a night out, not more. BeGambleAware.org is free and confidential if it stops being fun.

Frequently asked questions

Are randomly generated lottery numbers more likely to win?

No. Every combination has exactly the same chance. Random numbers just avoid the patterns and birthdays that many other players choose.

Is this the same as a Lucky Dip?

It works the same way: random numbers within the game's rules. The difference is you can see them before you buy and play them as your own numbers.

Can I keep some of my own numbers?

Yes. Put them in "Always include" and the generator fills the rest of each line at random.

Which lottery has the best jackpot odds?

Of the games here, Irish Lotto at 1 in 8,145,060 and Thunderball at 1 in 8,060,598 have the shortest jackpot odds per line.
