Numbers come from your browser's secure random generator, so every combination is equally likely. Nothing here can make a line more likely to win. Your earlier picks are kept in this browser only.
A Pick 3 and Pick 4 generator gives you random digits for the daily games. Pick 3 is three digits from 0 to 9, so 000 to 999; Pick 4 is four digits, 0000 to 9999. Each line comes with its odds: 1 in 1,000 for a Pick 3 straight, 1 in 10,000 for Pick 4, and better odds for a box depending on how many different digits the line has. It’s free, and you can copy or print the numbers.
Pick 3 and Pick 4 odds
A straight bet needs the digits in the exact order. A box wins in any order, so the odds depend on how many distinct orders your number has:
| Game | Your number | Box ways | Box odds |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pick 3 | All different (e.g. 123) | 6 | 1 in 166.7 |
| Pick 3 | One pair (e.g. 112) | 3 | 1 in 333.3 |
| Pick 4 | All different (1234) | 24 | 1 in 416.7 |
| Pick 4 | One pair (1123) | 12 | 1 in 833.3 |
| Pick 4 | Two pairs (1122) | 6 | 1 in 1,666.7 |
| Pick 4 | Three of a kind (1112) | 4 | 1 in 2,500 |
The box pays less because it’s easier. A 6-way Pick 3 box usually pays about a sixth of the straight prize, so the expected return is roughly the same either way.
Straight, box or both
A straight/box (sometimes called “any order plus exact”) splits your stake between the two, so you win something in any order and more if it’s exact. Rules and names vary by state and country, so check what’s offered where you play. The generator flags lines with repeated digits, since those have fewer box ways.
For other draws, the lottery number generator covers most national lotteries, and the lottery odds calculator works out any format.
