Sic Bo is three dice and a table full of bets with wildly different prices. This free Sic Bo calculator gives the odds, the usual payout and the house edge for each one, and lets you type in your table’s own payout to check it.
Sic Bo odds: 216 ways for three dice
Three dice land 216 equally likely ways. Everything follows from counting them. Small (a total of 4 to 10) covers 108 of them, but the three small triples lose, so it wins 105 times in 216. Paid at even money, that’s a house edge of 2.78%. Big, Odd and Even are the same.

Is there a Sic Bo strategy?
Only one that works: stick to Big or Small. Every other bet costs more, most of them several times as much. The single-number bet looks friendly because it pays on one, two or three dice, but at 1, 2 and 3 to 1 it carries a 7.87% edge. Some tables pay 12 to 1 when all three dice match, which cuts it to 3.70%.
Payouts vary more than in most games. Total 9 or 12 is often 6 to 1 and sometimes 7 to 1, which drops the edge from 18.98% to 7.41%. Before you bet a total, put your table’s payout into the calculator.
At £5 a roll and 60 rolls an hour, Big or Small costs about £8 an hour on average. A specific double at the same pace costs about £56.
