The Super Flag calculator settles one of the biggest full-cover bets with up-and-down bets in it. A Super Flag is five selections and 46 bets: the 26 bets of a Super Yankee (10 doubles, 10 trebles, 5 fourfolds and a fivefold) plus 10 pairs of single stakes about bets, which is another 20. At £1 a bet it costs £46. It’s free to use and handles each way, non-runners and Rule 4.
What is a Super Flag bet?
It’s a Flag with a fifth selection. Each pair of selections gets two single stakes about bets: £1 on A, and if it wins, £1 goes on B; and the same the other way round. So a winner still earns you something even when its partner loses.
| Part | Bets |
|---|---|
| Doubles | 10 |
| Trebles | 10 |
| Fourfolds | 5 |
| Fivefold | 1 |
| Single stakes about (10 pairs × 2) | 20 |
| Total | 46 |
Each way doubles it to 92 bets, so a £1 each way Super Flag costs £92.
Super Flag returns: a worked example
Take the five prices loaded above: 2/1, 6/4, 3/1, 5/2 and 7/4, with £1 a bet. If all five win, the Super Flag returns £1,270.50. If only the first two win, you get back £27.00 from £46: the double at 2/1 and 6/4 pays £7.50, the two up-and-down bets on that pair return £9, and the singles on the two winners in their pairs with the three losers add £10.50. That’s a loss of £19, but far better than a Super Yankee, where two winners return just the double.
Three winners usually puts a Super Flag into profit at prices like these. Change the results in the calculator to see exactly where yours breaks even.
Fewer selections? The Flag calculator does four. Without the up-and-down bets, five selections is a Super Yankee. The bet calculator covers every bet type.
46 bets add up fast. Decide the total stake before the unit stake. BeGambleAware.org is free and confidential if it stops being fun.
